Skill level

Mid-Career

For professionals responsible for website performance optimization.

Continuing Education: Eligible for PMI PDUs and 12 Scrum Alliance SEUs.

What You Will Master

Day 1

Auditing, Architecture & AI Visibility

Objective: Master the technical plumbing required to make a client’s brand visible to LLMs, and build a rapid discovery framework.

Morning Session · 9:00 AM – 1:00 PMThe AI Discovery Stack
Module 1

The RAG & LLM Extraction Blueprint

  • Deconstructing how Perplexity, ChatGPT, and Google AI Overviews read and pull citations.
  • Mapping a client’s current “AI Share of Voice” to find where competitors are winning the chat real estate.
Module 2

The 2-Hour GEO Vulnerability Audit

  • Developing a repeatable audit framework to show clients exactly which organic keyword pools are at risk of being swallowed by AI summaries.

Skill mastered: Delivering a high-impact, visual “AI Risk Report” to freeze client churn.

Afternoon Applied Lab · 2:00 PM – 4:00 PMInvisible Architecture
Module 3

Code for Bots (Schema & LLM Files)

  • Writing and deploying advanced, entity-based JSON-LD schema to bridge client websites to Google’s Knowledge Graph.
  • Drafting, configuring, and deploying optimized llms.txt and llms-full.txt files to prioritize high-converting pages for AI scrapers.

Skill mastered: Implementing machine-readable architecture that commands AI crawlers.

Day 2

Content Mechanics & Backlog Architecture

Objective: Re-engineer content to win citations, and translate those strategies into granular, executable Agile backlog items.

Morning Session · 9:00 AM – 1:00 PMInformation Density & Citations
Module 4

Writing for LLM Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)

  • Stripping fluff from existing high-value client pages to satisfy strict algorithmic retrieval thresholds.
  • Structuring text using the “Citation Hook” method (authoritative data framing, data-dense tables, and distinct expert nodes) so LLMs clip it as a direct source link.
Module 5

The Agile GEO Sprint Workflow

  • Setting up 14-day Scrum/Kanban content sprints specifically for rapid GEO iterations.
  • Mapping velocity metrics to track how fast the content team can adapt to weekly LLM algorithm shifts.
Afternoon Applied Lab · 2:00 PM – 4:00 PMBacklog Construction & User Story Writing
Module 6

Building the Production-Ready GEO Backlog

  • Translating the technical gaps found on Day 1 into granular User Stories and Acceptance Criteria (e.g., “As an AI search crawler, I need structured entity schema so I can accurately categorize the client’s core software tool”).
  • Mapping out 14 days of sequential, bite-sized optimization tasks across tech, copywriting, and schema layers.

Skill mastered: Writing flawless, developer-ready Agile backlog items using a standardized GEO epic framework.

Context

What is a Standardized GEO Epic Framework?

A Standardized GEO Epic Framework is a project management blueprint used to organize, categorize, and track all optimization tasks required to make a client visible to AI search engines.

Because GEO requires a mix of data engineering, technical web development, and hyper-specific copywriting, you cannot just dump tasks into a messy list. In Agile, an Epic represents a large body of work that can be broken down into smaller tasks (User Stories).

Accelerated Capstone

For CEU/PDU validation. To earn continuing education credits for this course, attendees must complete a GEO Execution Portfolio during the afternoon labs:

  1. 1An example of a completed llms.txt file map.
  2. 2One piece of RAG-optimized copy structured to trigger an LLM citation.
  3. 3A 14-day Agile Sprint Backlog containing at least 5 fully defined user stories with explicit acceptance criteria.
